Most of original Pup'crew have crossed the rainbow bridge, each at their own time in recent years -- understandable, as Pup'parel was founded in 2003. We wanted to memorialize each of them, as each made a huge contribution based on their individual talents. So... one day, when we were talking with our local Humane Society, they mentioned that they were wanting to come up with something to celebrate Memorial Day based on a "Forget-me-Not" theme. It wasn't long after that we not only came up with an idea to help them raise funds, but the idea for this charm bracelet became at first a twinkle in our eye, then quickly made it to the design board! Voila -- this bracelet came to life!
Each bracelet comes with up to 4 round charms (5/8" diameter) featuring your photo of your pet(s) against a background of a field of forget-me-nots, their name and "gotcha" or birth year and the date they crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The center charm is a small heart (1" diameter) with a beautiful image of the rainbow bridge on the front, and a tender inscription on the back that reads: "Your wings were ready, but my heart was not" on top of a rainbow image. That's a total of 4 custom charms and one "standard" all included in the purchase price. Since the charms are made of aluminum, they are very light weight -- so no matter how many charms you add, it will never be super clunky!
Need more charms? Not a problem. You can purchase additional charms by clicking here! Do you prefer different text on the back of your heart charm? We'll be happy to make it exactly as you'd like it!
Please remember to email us photos of good head shots of the pet(s) you'd like to memorialize -- we'll do the rest. Please be aware that the quality of the image will effect the finished product.
As a special thank you to our friends at Pulaski County Humane Society for igniting the idea for this amazing bracelet, the Pup'parel pups will donate $3.50 from each of these bracelets that we sell to them. (Sorry, that means that this item is not eligible for "Razzy's Choice" or for a contribution to other pet-related non-profit groups.)
