What's new at Pup'parel besides the website?
Tobibody, our beloved CEO died on January 11, 2007. He had been diagnosed with not one, but 2 different types of cancer --either Leukemia or Lymphatic Carcinoma, and had a malignant mass that has been determined to be some type of Sarcoma. At the young age of 8 years, he underwent chemotherapy for the former, and seemed to be responding quite well. He took a turn for the worse on January 9, and went downhill quickly. On Thursday, January 11, he was in so much pain, that even the "Toby Song" couldn't start even the tiniest of wags. That is when the Mom knew she had to do the right thing by him. So, hoping for a veterinary miracle, she and the Dad took him to the doctor one last time. There were no miracles. So, they did the kindest thing they could, and asked the doctor to put him to sleep. Then they cried very hard. Since Toby was always been quite the thinker and planner, he had been grooming Boofa (aka "Bozers") & Miss Nyssa to become the joint leaders of Pup'parel, with the titles of CDO (Chief Decorating Officer) and COO (Chief Out-of-the-ordinary Officer) respectively. They aren't quite ready to accept these very serious responsbilities, but we'll let you know as soon as they are -- and will show you pictures of our new exec's!
As far as new products we've added a few -- all with high snuggle factors for these chilly winter days (and nights)! In products, we have a new ladies sueded fleece sweatshirt, It is soft and comfortable, with an open bottom and slightly tailored fit to flatter your figure! We've also added a new color in our Microchenille Crewneck sweaters -- Tomato! It's a gorgeous shade of red -- nearly a blood red which looks great with almost any dog design! Plus, there's an awesome MicroFleece V-Neck that's available in pastel colors -- so soft and comfortable, you'll feel like you are wearing your pajamas. (Yes, matching pants are available!)
New designs? Yes, we've added a whole bunch! In canine activity designs, we've created "Lady Rally" at the request of one of our clients. Plus we've finalized several breed designs all suitable for left chest placement: Papillon 1, American Cocker Spaniel 1 (blonde), Black & Tan King Charles Cavalier, Yorkshire Terrier 3, Maltese 1, and a Chinese Crested. For center chest and jacket back placement, we've created several new "portraits": Papillon in Fleur Frame, Young Adult German Shepherd in Leaf Wreath, Chinese Crested in Antique Frame, and Golden Retriever in Art Deco Frame. These "portraits" are gorgeous on the back of our new chenille and soybu robes, which are wonderful Valentine gifts!
We've also added a couple more patches for canine assistants... our "Stop - Don't Pet Me" patch is in the shape of a stop sign, and our "Seeing Eye Dog" patch. has eye's in the e's, plus, we've added a "Seizure Alert Dog in Training" patch,.
